| vista | Find Album Info doesn't work on Windows Media Player On my WMP, when I right-click on a song and then click on find album info, it says "You must be connected to the Internet to update information about the Audio CD you have selected" even though I am connected. I don't understand why it is saying this. Is this common? Can anyone help me fix this problem? |

| Vista Ultimate x64, SP2 | Re: Find Album Info doesn't work on Windows Media Player Hello Green Ranger, Have you checked your firewall settings ?. Take a look and see if you can add WMP to the exceptions list. Also , in WMP options, check that the option to update from the web is enabled. Hope this helps, post your results, thanks. |

| vista | Re: Find Album Info doesn't work on Windows Media Player Hello, thanks for your reply. I checked the firewall settings and WMP options and everything seemed to be as it should be, but I still have the problem. Have you got any more possible solutions? Could reinstalling WMP fix the issue? Thanks for the help anyway. |

| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Re: Find Album Info doesn't work on Windows Media Player I too have the same problem. I have reset all security and privacy settings in IE to their default settings and even turned off the firewall and still get the same error message "This program cannot display the webpage". This is very frustrating. All of the possible causes listed I have covered except of course the possibility of the webpage being down and since I do not know what webpage is being addressed Then I cannot even check that out. I really hope someone can help us. Thanks! |

| vista | Re: Find Album Info doesn't work on Windows Media Player It's not a CD, it's anything. Any song I click on to get album info, the same thing comes up that I'm not connected. |
