| Vista Home Premium 32bit | No Mp3 Rip in WMP The title pretty much says it all, I cannot rip from a cd into mp3 format anymore and I get an error that says "One or more tracks cannot be ripped from the cd." I can rip in wma but mp3 has higher quality. Here is the error code from microsoft: C00D10D2. Thanks |

| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Re: No Mp3 Rip in WMP Quote: Microsoft- Windows Media Player cannot rip the track because a compatible MP3 encoder is not installed on your computer. Install a compatible MP3 encoder or choose a different format to rip to (such as Windows Media Audio). |

| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Re: No Mp3 Rip in WMP So... how do I do that? Should I just put the files for lame or some other encoder in the WMP folder in Program Files? |

| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Re: No Mp3 Rip in WMP Sorry for taking so long to respond... Anyway, I have WMP 11 in Vista and it used to work just like that up until a few days ago. At first I thought it was because of Comodo System Cleaner's registry cleaner having a problem but I restored the backup and the issue was still there. I can still rip fine in MediaMonkey and ExpressRip but, nothing works quite as well as Windows Media Player did. Too bad there isn't a way to do a repair install of WMP... |

| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Re: No Mp3 Rip in WMP Marty, you could try a sfc scan. Here is tutorial on sfc. System Files - SFC Command[11]=Performance%20Maintenance If that doesn't work it's looking like you might have to do a repair install from the recovery disc |
