| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Windows Media Player will not open Help me please... When I'm in my pictures and click on a video clip, Windows Media Player will not open the clip. I can open the clip however, with other media players. If I'm looking at a series of pictures and clips, the clip will open with Windows Media Player when advancing or clicking FROM a picture... If I reboot my computer, Windows Media Player will work until I power down for the day... Perplexing! Does anyone know what causes this??? Thanks; Bob |

| Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Have you set WMP as the default media player? Open up the start menu and select Default Programs, then Set Your Default Programs, then select Windows Media Player, then select set as default. |

I had the same problem what i did was Uninstall WMP and Reinstall the latest version If this happens again Do the same process except install the version earlyer i did and it has not failed me yet  Did you update it..? if so there was a glitch update which crashed some WMP's Hope this helped |
