Vista - Windows Media Center stopped working

I have Dell XPS 420 Intel Quad CPU Q6600 @2.40GHz
RAM 3.00GB
Windows Vista Ultimate
32-bit operatingSystem

Windows Media Center worked before, but a few weeks ago after viewing a recorded TV (maybe a hour or so) show it would crash. Now when it opens it crash right away.

Having a similar problem. Difference is that I am trying to run Windows Media Center for the first time. It crashes within 10 seconds, even sooner if I try adding an extender or going through setup. And I'm running a 64-bit Home Premium on a Dell Studio 1535. All Microsoft has recommended (so far) is starting in Safe Mode.

Update your tuner hardware and your graphics card.

is it still happening in safe mode though? Talk to dell about it, or go onto a dell forum, this seems like another dell related problem

Yes, still happens in Safe Mode.

Have you updated your gpu and tuner card?

All updates have been run.
