| Vista Home Premium | Media Player stops working when burning DVD My OS is Vista Home Premium. I've just had a new digital aerial installed and would like to use Media Center to record some TV programs and play them on the TV with my DVD player. I can record the programs OK but as soon as I try to burn a DVD I get the message 'Media Center Has Stopped Working' when this message has cleared Media Center shuts down and I get a further message saying 'Media Center Extensibility Host has stopped working' Does anyone have a fix for this please? |

| Vista Home Premium | Re: Media Player stops working when burning DVD Thank you MrNeeds. I'd never heard of an extender. Perhaps I'll give one a try later. I recorded part of a fiilm using Media Center, burned it with DVD Maker and it worked fine. I thought the quality of the image was quite good so that's what I'll do to start with. I am however disappointed with Media Center not allowing me to Burn a DVD. It's another example of Vista not coming up to scratch which isn't good enough when you consider the resources Microsoft has at its disposal. |
