Vista - Problems with visuals downloaded from microsoft (wmp 11)

EDIT: Okay, after a bit of troubleshooting, I have figured out these new visualisations that I have don't play nice with mp3's. They like my wma's though... wth? I know I don't need to download a new codec for mp3's because windows media player plays them okay without any visualisations added to it (I just checked!) What can I do? :/

Hello world! I just recently downloaded some visual animations for Windows Media Player 11 from Microsoft (or at least, their web site) and installed them. My media player is doing these things, in order, at least 30 - 120 seconds into the song:
-sound stops (or animations stop)
-whatever of the two that didn't stop before stop now
-windows media player locks up, can't click anything.
in about 2 or 3 minutes, it may come back, but the freezing/locking repeats itself.
IT NEVER ENDS. O.o

So, I was wondering if there were any known issues with installing new visualisations or known issues with any of the packs from Microsoft... The ones I got are called "Psychadelia" and MP10_Energy Bliss (may not be correct, and yeah I know it's mp10 I still don't know why I even got it >p ) I did have whitecap, but uninstalled it due to fruityness anyway. Is there any reason why it's doing this with the stuff I got?
