Vista Ultimate x64

Hello,
I am new to the forums and I would appreciate a little help. I just setup my new compute last night with Vista Ultimate 64bit, and I went to install my copy of Office 2007 Ultimate edition. I am a student so I bought this through a Microsoft promotion called the "Ultimate Steak" where I purchased it for $60. After going to activate it I got a message saying I have activated the software to many times. I had this installed on my old PC 2 times because of reformats and once on my laptop. I no longer use my old PC and I need my Office working on my desktop for school work etc. Is there a number I can call or something to fix this? Thanks guys for any support available to me. |

I had the same issue come up on my Vista Ultimate 64 because I used to rebuild it often from scratch rather than restore the image. Each time I had to call MS and they would verify some info and have me activate it while i was on the phone.
Since then I started using the full system backup/restore built into Ultimate. This has saved time and phonecalls. You will probably have to call to get your software reactivated but if you do it on a fresh build and then Image it afterwards you should not hit any issues down the road if you want ot restore to a fresh build using the imaging tool. |
