| Vista Ultimate x32 | Word problem Word opens just fine but will not close properly. When I save and close, it gives an error message and tries to open the Word application again to a blank page. | Windows Vista Home Premium x64 SP1 | Re: Word problem Try opening Word in safe mode and see if the problem persists. To do that, hold down the ctrl key while you open Word. If that fixes it, there's probably an add-on causing the problem. We'd have to go through those. The file it references is related to HP printer drivers. You may want to check those drivers. You might try uninstalling it, or switching to another printer. There's a chance it will cause problems in your other MS Office applications until this is fixed. |

| Windows Vista Home Premium x64 SP1 | Re: Word problem Okay. Try it again not in safe mode (on the off chance it sorted itself out). If that doesn't work, try uninstalling and reinstalling the printer (and printer drivers). Good luck. |
