Hi Guys,
When I am working with Word docs, I occasionally get the error message 'Word has stopped working@ and then get error message 'Microsoft Office Word is trying to recover your information' which is then followed by 'Word cannot open the file ~WRS(25A9155-508F-4C19-8D8A-A2DFAF672C8C).If the file is stored on your computer there may be a problem with your hardware. If the file is stored on the network there may be a problem with the network connection. If you can copy the file, try saving the file inanother location and opening it there.' I have searched for this file and cannot locate it....do you think uninstalling Microsoft Office 2007 will rectify the problem ? I have deleted all the word docs I have and the error message still comes up. Once I have closed the box down, Word restarts and comes up with a new blank doc. Help.......... |

Hi,
I had the same problem. I managed to resolve it after doing some google search and forum reading. The problem was related to the HP printer that I bought and installed recently. The problem was resolved after installing the latest drivers from the HP website. Don't use the drivers provided in the CD. For more detailed information and if this solution does not work, see my webpage. Regards, Asif Khan Last edited by asif; 1 Week Ago at 04:20 AM. Reason: updating information |
