    System Administrator?

I am trying to install "Micosoft Publisher 2002" that a friend gave me as I want to do a Wedding Booklet for some body who is getting married and I like doing new project...but each time I tried to install it I keep getting this message
"The System Administrator Has Set Policies To Prevent This Installation"
Strange I am the administrator on my Pc there is no one else on it not even a guest account ..only mine and ..ASP.NET Machine Account..
Could some one explain to me what is going on
    thanks for any solution

    Welcome,

    Try disabling UAC first.

Yes. I disabled UAC to install apps and then turn it back on after I am sure this app is working.

I usually uninstall old Office versions and delete old directories before installing new stuff.

Hi, all th errors you get are relative with permissions (registry writing)
So, if UAC is disabled, first thing to do is to perform the installation with the AV and Firewall disabled.
If you still get the error 1406 or whatever, have a look at the error log file and take ownership of the relevant subkey of the registry.
