| Vista Ultimate x64 MAK, OpenSolaris 5, Gentoo 2008.1.... | Re: Access 97 Memory Error Julia, Did you get Access to install successfully on your computer? Also, are you having the problem when you open this particular database or when you run Access *without* opening the database? AFAIK Office 97 products are not supposed to work in Vista - see Description of the versions of Office that are supported on Windows Vista Also, newer versions are backward compatible, AFAICT. For example, see http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ac...484061033.aspx However, Access 2007 cannot save in formats older than Office 2000, but I don't see much of a difference In order to keep it in Access 97 format you may need to install Office 2003 as that does support Vista. However, AFAICT, Access formats were pretty close to being the same from 97 through 2003. |
