| Vista Home Premium 32 bit | office 2007 page layout Hi all, for what ever reason, when I am sent a MS document, open it, then go to print it, it ends up in landscape instead of portrait. I have to manually go in and change the layout to portrait before I print. Is there a way to change it to permanently set it to portrait. It did not do any of this before the last office update. Any suggestions. |

| Vista Home Premium 32-bit & Vista Ultimate 64-bit both Service Pack 2 W7 Pro RTM 7600 32 & 64 | Re: office 2007 page layout Hi bassfisher6522, To solve this, you need to make changes to your 'Normal.dotm' template. Open Word and click the Office button. Select 'Open' and under 'Favorite Links' in the left hand panel click 'Templates'. Click on 'Normal.dotm' to open it. Next, click the Office button again and highlight 'Print'. In the options that appear, select 'Print Preview'. On this page, click 'Orientation' and set it to 'Portrait'. Close the 'Print Preview' screen. Again, click the Office button and this time click 'Save' to save the new 'Normal.dotm' template. Incidentally, you can create a number of templates to use with different default configurations such as paper orientation, font size, margins, ink colour, but the default template that opens automatically is 'Normal.dotm'. |
