Vista Home Premium 64bit

help please with 2 vista queries

Can any Vista expert out there help a noobie?

I have built a database in Access on my XP machine whereby in the form page of Access I can click on a button that uses a hyperlink to display a jpeg file on my hard disk. I now have 2,000 images linked to my database this way. This works very nicely displaying the image full size in MS Office Picture Manager. Looks cool on my twin monitor setup.

Now that I have bought a new PC running Vista Home Premium 64 bit and I have 2 problems:

Firstly, when I click on the button in Access I get a warning box comes up telling me that hyperlinks can be dangerous and do I want to continue. Well it's my hyperlink so no problem but I can't disable the message, it comes up every time and spoils the slick action of my DB. I have disabled User Account Control. Surely this message can be permanently switched off?

Secondly, after saying OK, it then displays my photo as a small image in an Internet Explorer window and not in Windows Photo Gallery (which I understand has replaced Picture Manager in Vista) even though I have made WPG my default program for displaying Jpegs.

So much for progress... Any ideas please.
Cheers, Nick
