| Vista Home Premium | Unable to open PowerPoint attachments in Vista Mail I'm new at this (or any other) forum so please forgive any lack of knowledge or information. I was unable to open powerpoint attachments to incoming e-mail. I saw somewhere that I could change my computer settings from "open" powerpoint to "show" which I did. Now, I can open the slide show from email but can't open the attachment as a powerpoint document where I can change slides, add slides, etc. Any thoughts? |

| Vista Ultimate 32bit , Windows 7 Beta | Re: Unable to open PowerPoint attachments in Vista Mail do you have office software or wat software you are using for opening and editing the file. and is the format ppt or pptx ? try this Save the files on to the HD but not directly from the email, had to add an 'open' action to the list & associate the correct application for viewing powerpoint presentations in WLM & that will do the trick. after doing this you can open ppt directly from WML. |
