| Vista Home Premium 32 bit OS | Fix for MS Word malfunctions after Vista updates Hi: I found that I was having all kinds of problems with my Word program after I have left the machine running all night and Vista did an automatic update and restarted my computer. Word wouldn't shut down properly and then it would relaunch when I tried to close it. The mouse and scroll bar wouldn't work, etc. I found the solutions to this problem at Microsoft Support.
