| x86 | Excel macro opens with broken links I designed Excel bookkeeping spreadsheets in Excel 2003 on an XP. When users install the files they open in Read Only compatibility mode for users with Vista and Excel 2007. I understand that if the program installs and is saved before the permission has been changed by the user (in properties, security, edit, continue, user, allow full control box checked, apply, ok, ok) Vista will install it in My Docs. Could this be causing the trouble? Is there a simple way to allow Vista users to install these macros without changing the permissions? Right now users need to Enable Content, change security settings to say Disable all macros with notification and now this. |
