Outlook 2007

Hi All

I am using Windows 7 and every time I try to open Outlook 2007 (and sometimes some of the other office programs), it will only open up half way? Inasmuch as it opens to the full width from side to side but I always have to resize it for the height as in top to bottom. This has happened with a few programs but some of these seem to have sorted themselves out but most definately not Office 2007! It's really weird and I am getting fed up with having to keep opening the program up manually, to get it showing fully on the monitor. I don't like it opened maximised (as in no edges to the opened program) as I like it to show the edges, so that the transparency on the edges and rounded corners show when fully opened. It may be a bug but being a bit of a 'divvy' with things like this, I have no idea how to rectify it, if at all possible? Thank you if anyone can assist.

Mike

Hy Micky (mike) open Outlook and maximized and then closed your program before you open outlook go to the icom and right click and go to properties and in run change to normal windows , open your program and adjust your side the way to like ok.

Re: Outlook 2007

Hi Marce

Well, you are a genius!

It certainly worked with Outlook 2007 after a little bit of fiddling around. Now I just have to get to work on the rest of the Office 2007 suite and get them openeing fully as well. I also tend to think that Win 7, being only a Beta version, must still have a few bugs in it as well? I am using Build 7100 RC1 and you would have thought that M/S (in their infinate wisdom) would have sorted the bugs by now? Anyway, many thanks again Marce! Cheers!

Re: Outlook 2007

Flu Virus? I didn't even know there was a flu virus going round?

I haven't owned a TV for about six years now (it nores me with all the rubbish they broadcast and the expensice licence fee to own a TV) and I don't buy newspapers so I don't know what the hell is happening in the world?

I only watch a bit of TV when I am on my dialysis machine at the dialysis unit I go to, four hours, three days a week. But I usually end up falling asleep anyway so I coudn't tell you what's happening?

I did see something about pigs on the news though so maybe that's it?

I have found that Build 7100 of Windows 7 that I am using is very unstable at the moment. I am testing it and have sent feedback in about the problem with Outlook not opening correctly but of course, we don't get replies so we don't know how to do any work arounds to fix any problems there may be? Anyway Marce, thanks very much again and speak soon. Bye for now.

Regards
Mike
