Vista - Office 2K7 Shortcuts won't work and Icons

Hi guys. All of the sudden, Office 07 shortcuts from the start menu no longer work. Nothing happens when you click on them - the start menu stays open. Also, the icons of the shortcuts have turned into just a paper icon.



I should also note that even the icons on the documents have changed.



Though, when I double click on documents, they still open the corresponding program. Another way I can open the programs is by going into the Program Files.

Does any body know anything about this? I have searched with Google with only a handful of people having my problem, though their thread isn't answered.

Do you remember what you have done to trigger this problem? I can't recall what I did but I was messing with the registry for a custom theme. Though, because I don't use much of Microsoft Office, I can't say if me messing with the registry was the cause.

no man!...my problem suddenly appear afetr i turn on pc..i didnt mess with reg!..

Right click on one of the applications and choose properties.
This will tell you about the shortcut.

no man..its not that...its more dificult probl. i contact support from Microsoft ..they only told me what i already know!nothing more! but nw i have prob. couse Office want to uninstall i dont know why but when i want to uninstal it goes about 45% and then display window ..the office didnt uninstall and app will close!
