| Vista Home Premium 64BIT SP1 | Windows Vista Error Message I am trying to install Windows Office Professional on my new computer which has Windows Vista Home Premium 64 Bit SP1 operating system. I keep getting "Error executing file" E:\Office11-Disk 1-Professional\SETUP.EXE The requested operation requires elevation. Please help, Thanks! Zelmoidal |

See if right clicking on the setup.exe file of Office, and clicking on Run as administrator may allow it to install properly afterwards without the error. Hope this helps, Shawn |

| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: Windows Vista Error Message Are you installing this while logged on to a administrator or standard account? It may not let you if you are doing it from a standard account. See if you can right click on the DVD drive icon and click on Open from within the Computer (Start Menu) window to see the files on the DVD, then try to right click on the setup.exe file of Office and clicking on Run as administrator. |
