ok i have had the same problem with outlook not starting and i went to to the outlook.exe/resetnavpane in run and it said it cannot be found and i should locate the program.
im confused, why wont it work for me but it work for everyone else!

Excuse the small typo...you need a space between .exe and / so type outlook.exe /resetnavpane in run and that should do it.

i did that and i get this message - windows cannot find outlook.exe. make sure you types the name correctly, and try again

I have the same problem. Before installing SP2 with my Vista Business Pro 6.0 OS, I could click on an email addy and outlook would come up and I could send messages thru my ISP, which is Comcast.net. Now, an error box comes up stating : "cannot access outlook express." What do I do?

Hi everyone ... I was using Windows XP when this problem with outlook occured.
Thisoutlook.exe/resetnavpane - worked really well and I am so glad I did not have to lose data.

Thank you for having given this solution else I would have been in big trouble.
