Associating MDB to MS Access

I tried to reply to other posts re: this subject but they were too old...

I have Office 2003 on my computer and Access will not open if I click on a .mdb file. I tried both methods to associate the file back to MS Access but it did not work. First it was associated with Firefox, I tried to associate it with Access but when it refreshed it was associated with Adobe Acrobat?!?!?!?

This is real frustrating that not only will Vista not associate it .mdb files to access but it seems to be picking file types randomly for it.

Any advise on how to get this to work?

BTW, the rest of the office applications are associated properly, it is just Access Database files.

I can open them by opening Access first and clicking File> Open.

Thanks for any help or advise.
