| Vista Ultimate x64 | What on earth can xps be used for? I have spent a lot of time recently trying to figure out what one could use xps format for - but with - absolutely - no succes whatsoever. It is slow to generate, there is hardly any configuration in the print setup, and viewing... You can - if you have the necessary patience - make it viewable in Internet Explorer. It is searchable at such low speed that it one looks around for that black hole which seems to suck all life out of your computer. No applications support it. There are - very - few editors if one doesn't count notepad in. I think it is a mess and while it theoretically might be a good idea. Please somebody - mention me just one good example of xps in practical use! regards Bjørn |
