| Vista Home Premium 32bit | MS Works adds one line upon opening and closing document O.K., I'm looking for a job. I open MS Works and I write my re'sume, a few pages long. Because many people cannot open a MS Works document (doc.x ?) I save it as a MS Word file (DOC) as I close it. When I re-open the thing all the text has been moved down one line, and the final line of each page (if it was the last line at the bottom of the previous page) has rolled-over to the next page. If I save it again (as a DOC) and re-open it, it will move the text down one more line. If I do that all again: 'Save As' - re-open, it moves everything down one more line and keeps rolling over the last line to the next page. This is maddening as I try to format my re'sum'e. I've taken to using Wordpad because it does not mess with the formating. Does anybody have any idea why that happens? |
