| Vista Ultimate x64 SP1 | When you installed Office, did you have admin privileges? If not, try reinstalling Office with Admin rights. |

| Vista Ultimate x64 SP1 | I'm running Office 2007 Enterprise Edition and didn't have to disable UAC. Do you have the latest patches/SPs installed? Here's a weird one...try powering off the PC, wait about two minutes, then power on. See what happens. Like I said, weird but... The other thing you might want to do is look at your user profile to see if in fact you do have admin rights. |

| Vista Ultimate x64 SP1 | I found this piece of info, don't know if it'll help but... You receive a "Please wait while Windows configures Microsoft Office XP Pro" error message when you upgrade to Office 2003 or Office 2007 |

| Vista Ultimate x64 SP1 | In my setup they're under - C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office12 Not sure where yours may be, especially if you did an upgrade. My version didn't require an upgrade because I have a full version of the suite. |
