| Vista Business 32bit | Vista 32bit issues with Godaddy email for Outlook 2007 I've run through the config settings multiple times and am having trouble sending SMTP messages via outlook. I've successfully set up my blackberry, and can log on to GoDaddy's webmail, so am sure my login/password are correct. Also, I've confirmed pop.secureserver.net and smtpout.secureserver.net are the correct addresses, but continue to receive the following error: Sending reported error (0x80042109) : Outlook cannot connect to your outgoing SMTP e-mail server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server admin or ISP. I've called GoDaddy and they confirmed the ports etc as published in their online help text, and blamed any connection issues on Windows Vista port blocking etc... I've turned off Zonealarm, Windows Firewall(always disabled) and Windows Defender. Anywhere else i need to update? Thanks, Jeff |

| Vista Business 32bit | Need to set SMTP port to 80 I did not find this anywhere on the outlook pages, but found a posting for Thunderbird that stated the SMTP port needs to be changed from 25 to 80. That appears to work for outlook 2007 as well. |
