| Vista x64 | Can't install Office 2007 When I try to install Office 2007 I get the error: Error 1923: Service 'Office Source Engine' (ose) couuld not be installed. Verify that you have sufficient privlieges to install system service I am running as an admin, why would I be getting this error. |

| Vista Ultimate 64-bit, SP2 | Re: Can't install Office 2007 Hi kerrygm See if this links applies to your situation - Error message when you try to install the 2007 Office programs after you remove a prerelease version of the 2007 Office programs: "Error 1923: Service 'Office Source Engine' (ose) could not be installed" You could also think about - Disabling UAC to see if it will install.
