| Vista Home Premium 32bit [x86] - SP2 | Failure - error trying to send email from MS Office Word 2007 So I had prepared a document with graphics in MS Office Word, saved it, and then set about to send it via email. | Vista Ultimate 64-bit, SP2 | Re: Failure - error trying to send email from MS Office Word 2007 Tony I'm curious, Are you using Win Mail or Outlook as your default email client? I note your question in this link How do I group common Email addresses together to send all the same Email? If indeed it's Win Mail try this - Control Panel. - Programs - Default Programs -set your default programs - wait for the list to populate - Windows Mail - set this program as default. If I'm barking up the wrong tree you will no doubt tell me. |

I note your question in this link How do I group common Email addresses together to send all the same Email? If I'm barking up the wrong tree you will no doubt tell me. I'm using Win Mail [Win. Live Hotmail]. I did have only 3 of 4 default settings, but it is now fully, the default mail app. The other question is sorted....it was ME barking up the wrong tree. All OK now and there should be a tick alongside that thread, just in case others were wondering where to find those settings. All I need to do now is find out how/where I logon for MS Office Word 2007 emailing. Edited; Solution found!! 'arf! arf! arf! arf! woof! I've found the right tree. ![]() Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.....both email of the displayed document in Word, and/or attaching it to an email, are now set for default in the Windows Live Hotmail Account, and working perfectly. That's another big tick for another thread. ![]() Last edited by sassofalco; 08-29-2009 at 05:13 AM.. |
