| Vista Ultimate 64-bit, SP2 | Re: e mail disabled outlook 2003 Hello susan g, You say "error message from postmaster said that account is disabled." Is this your ISP postmaster? Have you created more accounts than you are allowed? More details please. Moving on - Were you able to send / receive emails successfully prior to making a new account for your son? Did you delete your son's account? Go to Control Panel -Programs - Default Progs - Set your Default Progs - make sure Outlook is listed there & set as Default. Oh, & is Outlook fully updated? - including this - Issues that are fixed in Outlook 2003 by Office 2003 Service Pack 3 Last edited by JMH; 08-30-2009 at 10:07 PM.. Reason: Additional point. |

| vista home premium 32bit | Re: e mail disabled outlook 2003 Well how do I know how many accounts I am allowed to have on it? I have 3 currently and would like to add him as well. There is one I can delete if I have to, not that I know how. I can still use all other accounts fine, just the new one I created for him. It seems to be set up just like the other ones. The message is from our ISP postmaster. We are currently using charter.net for our e mail which is a pop3. He initially tried to set it up with an MSN account. I deleted that and set him up with a charter.net address as well but it still didn't work. I appreciate your help. I am leary of doing the upgrade as when I clicked on it it said something about unzipping?? Its all foreign to me. |

If you successfuly deleted the MSN account you must know how to delete. As well make sure that Windows Vista is fully updated. BTW Who created your other 3 email accounts in Outlook? |

| vista home premium 32bit | Re: e mail disabled outlook 2003 No I have not yet checked with charter, it is the weekend and it was something I was not planning on doing but somehow started and sat here for a couple of hours. I will contact them tom or tues and see what they say. My computer guy set up the first 3 accounts, then one got corrupted or damaged during a power failure and I stopped using it and was able to set up a new one about 1 year ago. That is why I figured I could do it again. I will call them. Thank you for your time, I hope I get the answer I need. |
