Vista - Share Outlook information

I have a notebook computer and my wife has a desktop. We both use Vista.. How can we share our outlook information so calendar appointments and contacts show up on both of our calendars?

I note in your System Specs you list your OS as XP but your query says Vista.
Please confirm if you are wanting to migrate calendar & contacts from Vista to Vista or is XP involved?
Are you referring to Outlook 2003 or 2007?

Sorry about that, I upgraded awhile back and it went very smoothly.. I forgot to upgrade my specs..

It is between two Vista machines.. I am using Outlook 2007, I think she is using the built in Outlook that comes with Vista (may be a lite version)..

Sometimes I am away for a few weeks with work, I'm hoping there is a way to keep our calendars in sync no matter where I am.. If she adds appointments to her's it shows up in mine, etc..

Edit: can it be done with all we have now, or do we need a program like this:

Hi Matthew,
Please check your wife's computer to see which email program she has.
Outlook doesn't usually come preinstalled on Vista. You normally have to purchase it.
I am not familiar with the program [link] that you supplied. Where did you get it from?

It may be worth setting up google calendar and syncing that with outlook - Getting started with Google Calendar Sync - Google Calendar Help

My wife just has 'Microsoft Mail', the default/generic mail program that comes with Vista..

Windows mail does not come with a calendar and the basic Vista calendar will not sync with outlook.

The only option that I can think of is to use a 3rd party calendar such as googles and share that.

Windows Mail has a calendar, it's under /tools/windows calendar.. Unless that is the vista basic calendar you're talking about?

I'll look into google calendar and see if that works..
