i recently re-installed the recovery on my laptop
(windows vista 32 bit home premium)



& when i trying to search office documents, the only results i'm getting are 2007 saved formats not 2003 although i using search files & their contents
knowing that before installing the recovery the search was perfect
any replies .........please

A couple of questions: Did you do a system recovery or system restore? What office program do you have installed office 2003 or 2007?

i made a system recovery & i installed office 2007

pop in the office 2007 disc and do a repair of the installation.

i uninstalled office 2007 & re-installed it but nothing changed

after uninstalling and then reinstalling software, update the software from office webpage. There are patches and fixes out there for most printer, software, hardware issues. Make sure all is up to date.

actually i installed service pack1 (sp1) & all is perfect now
