| Vista home premium 64 | Office 2007 Student in Vista I have almost completed a transfer of everything from my old XP computer to my new Vista (Dell p6110-Vista64-640HDD-Intel dual core). I am certainly not a power user but when Easy Transfer did not work I was able to move most of my old files to the Vista computer by hand. I had to copy and paste most of the data, but I realized that I could not transfer programs (expecially Office; Word, Excel etc.). So I did an clean install of Office Student 2007 in the new computer. The install was completed with no errors, but I am getting an error message in Word and cannot always save the files. I am using the old XP files and starting new files. This seems to only happen in Word. I get the following error message: - "Compile error in hidden module AZWizard Modul" I have tried to reinstall Office but nothing changed. Any ideas?? |

| Vista Ultimate 64-bit, SP2 | Re: Office 2007 Student in Vista Hello cogator, Have you run MS Diagnostics to see if it helps you? Go to Word Click the Microsoft Office Button Click Resources. Click Diagnose, click Continue, and then click Start Diagnostics. http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/wo...340761033.aspx http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/wo...3431033.aspx#1 Other links that may be of help below - Re: Compile Error in hidden module: AZWizardModul Home |

| Vista home premium 64 | Re: Office 2007 Student in Vista HI JMH: I ran the diagnostics and came up with no errors. I am researching the problem on the Microsoft site you provided. I am afraid this will be a long project and I might find a better use for my time right now. As long as Word functions, I can probably live with this until I have more time. Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it! Cogator Last edited by cogator; 09-16-2009 at 11:13 PM.. Reason: did not finish |
