Office 2003 blue color

I am running Office 2003 on a Windows Vista Premium. For some reason the default blue color of the Office 2003 is gone. All changed now to grey color, Outlook, Word......I didn't change any settings still using Vista themes, I noticed this happened after some updates for Office 2003. I also noticed I am no longer had my default Outlook, and I had to create new personal folder .pst after this change took place. My Office 2003 is running fine but the color changed to grey, is there is any way I can change it back to the default blue look. Thanks for taking time to reply back.

Re: Office 2003 blue color

I am not sure about Office 2003 because I use 2007. But there you go to e.g. Word Options > Popular where you find the setting for the color scheme.

Re: Office 2003 blue color

kalamata,

Have you tried changing in "Window color and appearence", available from "Personalize" when you right click on the desktop?

Re: Office 2003 blue color

And it does not help if you press "advanced" and try to change the colors of the active title bar?

Re: Office 2003 blue color

Found a couple of suggestions on the net, you may have tried them too. First

Office 2003 blue theme in Vista - Notebook Forums and Laptop Discussion

then a suggestion to rather than running in compatibility mode, as suggested in the thread, select "Disable visual themes" from Properties > Compatibility. Hope it works.
