Vista - Email link [send to] not working

I just installed Vista Ultimate to a new hard drive. After all updates I added Office enterprise 2007.

When i open Word the option to send to email is greyed out.

I checked the default program and it is set to windows mail, which is where i want it as I did not load outlook.

Why does it not work?

Refer the link below. Read it carefully. [Obviously Method 1 won't apply to you as you aren't using Outlook as an email client.]

The "E-mail" command is missing or is unavailable in Excel 2007, in PowerPoint 2007, or in Word 2007

This solution would be aimed at getting Outlook to be the default viewer, right?
I do not want Outlook but rather windows mail.
Will it still work?

Another thought - Just recheck that all of the steps below have been done please.

Click Start, select Default Programs
Click Set program access and computer defaults
Click Custom, and select Windows Mail
Click OK

Then, follow these steps:

Click Set your default programs
Select your mail client [Win Mail] from the list
Click Set this program as default
Click OK

Yes, they have been done and double checked.....

The only other easy thing to try that I can think of is -
Word - Click the button top left hand corner - Word Options - Resources - Run MS Office Diagnostics - Diagnose.
