| | QUESTION RE: WINDOWS MOVIE MAKER I'm so exasperated about a Movie Maker issue, I feel compelled to fish for a response. The bait is basic, but true (and hopefully appealing): an opportunity to help a conscientious and enthusiastic novice user of Movie Maker. System: Windows Vista/32-bit Program: Windows Movie Maker Issue: I saved a 4:3 movie to my hard drive as a 1.72GB .avi file. Frame Width: 640 Frame Height: 480. I split the movie into several sections, connected them with transitions/effects, published the movie to my computer, tried playback on Windows Media Player and DivX Player. The result: the movie clips play back smoothly, BUT the images are squeezed to the top half of the playing area; the remainder of the playing area is a blank green screen. WHY? This has never happened with my movie playbacks before. How on earth can I solve this presentational issue without having to re-edit my movie from scratch? For your response--the sooner the better--my most sincere and emphatic appreciation. Friendly regards, Brohde |
