| | Apparent Rogue Process During the course of today I have noticed a considerable degredation in system performance. On checking task manager I have found a process ("agent.exe") that is running and gradually using more and more memory. Having checked MSCONFIG this would not appear to be a start-up process. However, when I terminate the process, it automatically restarts and repeats the memory hugging all over again. How can I :- 1) Establish what is triggering this process and 2) Prevent it from running. Thanks, -- Gary |

(Hint: you might want to google for agent.exe before looking for a more relevant newsgroup.) Andrew |
