| | Networking mess Have two computers that were originally on the same LAN (for file/printer sharing). After some debugging of one, they are now on separate LANs and needless to say, don't "see" each other. How can I correct that? Thanks for all help |

| | Re: Networking mess Check each computer's properties: righ-clic "My Computer->Properties", Then select "Computer Name" tab, click "Change..." button. Make sure the 2 computer is in the same "Domain" or "Workgroup". I don't know what you have going on there. But in any case with two LAN(s), then the two LAN(s) are segmented or separated from each other, and the machines will not be able to see each other. The machines have to be on the same LAN in order for them to see each other. |

| | Re: Networking mess Ok, understood, is there a way to get them both on the same LAN? They are hooked to the same router - sorry but very lacking in knowledge on this.
