| | re-install of word 2000 Help!!! Please..... I was having a ton of trouble with word 2000 on my machine. (I run XP). It started about 9 months ago, but it was never so bad that I had to uninstall until this weekend. So, I uninstalled it and pulled out the install disk (part of the Works Suite 2000 set). I just need to reinstall Word. When I went to install it asked for the 25 character product key which is on my certificate of authenticity. Well, I have that no problem...wrong. My product key is only 20 characters. So, now software that has been on my computer for 5 years, now can't be reinstalled. I am really upset and in a heap of trouble without word on the computer. Can anyone help me????? Thanks so much for reading this. |

If you did try it and it failed, you should try to contact Microsoft directly: http://support.microsoft.com/default...tms&style=home |
