| | Unable to download/Install On my other laptop (OS=MS XP) I cannot download ANY programs. Sometimes I do get as far as a partial down load, but then it won't install. I am using IE7 and kept updates up to date, but now when I try to download anything I get the same problem. When I investigate further error message says 'Download updates for NVidia Graphics Driver' but I have done this and seem to have the latest drivers. A friend of mine is having a similar problem, and finds she can't even get updates. Do you think this could be a virus or some other problem? -- Martin |

Do you have competent AV software that is up to date? What does a full scan in safe mode tell you? *What* program is telling you to download graphics driver updates? When you gather the information, post back to an appropriate Windows XP group. This is a .NET programming group. As you appear to be using a web interface, start here to find an appropriate group: http://www.microsoft.com/communities...s/default.aspx Click the + beside your language. then scroll down to Windows. In Windows, open the Windows XP category, then find a group there to post in. |
