Spill on Keyboard

Is there any way to repair a keyboard on which I have spilled coffee which
has incapacitated it, or is it even worth the $$$ to fix it? This is a
remote keyboard. Thanks.

Re: Spill on Keyboard

Dry it out before you hook it back up. You might be lucky. Other than that,
you are probably hosed.

No, don't use a hose; it will only make it worse.

Re: Spill on Keyboard

I usually unplug it, put it under the spigot in the sink and run cold water over it for a while. Then shake most of the water out and leave it sit in direct sunlight in a window or something for a couple of days to dry out. Piece of cake.

And before you rinse it with clear water, take the batteries out.
