    svchost.exe application error

    svchost.exe -- application error
The instructionat "0x00000000" referenced memory at "ox00000000" could not
    be "written".

Click on OK to terminate the program
Click on CANCEL to debug the program

-- No matter what you do it keeps coming back. I can't load any new windows
because it says the windows is in safe mode (which it isn't) or there is a
problem (no kidding). I can't get on the net (using a friends now), It
doesn't recognize our server. It won't run system restore, it won't defrag,
it won't run SFC/SCANNOW. Any suggestions from those who are more than mere
mortals? I've even switched out the two 512 rams with each other. No help.

Are you asking the more than mere mortals in the right newsgroup/forum?
This is a .NET programmer's forum. and is not a Windows O/S forum. Maybe,
you want MS.Public.Windows.XP.General where you'll find the more than mere
    *mortals*.

May the *force* be with you.
