| | Registering for windows rename event Is it possible, in any way, to "listen" when a user tries to rename a file in windows explorer? For example, if someone has a file named test.txt in a folder test and tries to rename it to test2.txt, can I create a program that will popup BEFORE the renaming completes and do something about it? Let's say that I would like to popup a message to verify the renaming of the file "Are you sure you want to rename C: \test\test.txt to C:\test\test2.txt?". When I say in any way, I mean: a) using any .NET language (I currently only know VB.NET but I am about to learn C#) b) even using windows scripting language, services etc. etc. Thank you, Panagiotis |
