| | KeyGesture in WPF Hi, I have a small test application I am working with to get up to speed on WPF. One of the things I am trying is working with RoutedCommands. I have the following snip: public static RoutedCommand About = new RoutedCommand(); public TestWindow() { InitializeComponent(); About.InputGestures.Add(new KeyGesture(Key.F3)); } OK, the KeyGesture works, but the menu item that is assigned the command does not DISPLAY "F3" off to the right as I would expect: <MenuItem Header="About" Command="local:TestWindow.About" /> NOTE: the menu WORKS, pressing F3 WORKS, I just don't see "F3" on the menu unless I add the InputGestureText property. This seems counter to using something like: <MenuItem Header="Cut" Command="ApplicationCommands.Cut" /> which automatically adds "Ctrl-X" for me. Thoughts? |
