IPSec VPN Client in Vista and XP

I an trying to set up a VPN to access my office. My router only supports
IPSec and the client Vista provides is based on PPTP. Is there any way to set
up an IPSec client in VIsta and XP or do I have to buy a 3rd party client
    that supports IPSec?

In Vista, after creating your VPN, double-click on the shortcut and
select Properties>Networking Tab. At the top it's headed "Type of VPN"
where you can select "L2TP IPsec VPN". You can also select the "IPsec
Settings..." button just below that to set the Authentication settings.

It's basically the same in XP.
