Update install

Everytime I want to update an existing installation of my program I need to
uninstall it first and then I can install the new version.

How can I make it so that the new version is automaticly installed over the
previous installation?
I have tried the various options in the setup properties, but can't get it
to work.

pls help.

rg,
Eric

RE: Update install

What type of install are you creating; msi or Clickonce?
