selecting multiple rows using ctrl+click and editing in Grid view

Hi

I have have functionality like Selecting multiple rows (without using
check boxes) in Grid view by Ctrl+click (IE) and shift+click(safari
and Firefox). And edit the selected rows in a panel and save the same
for multiple rows.

Please anybody enlighten me..
