| | Attaching to running iis7 app on 2008 server to debug aspx? I am currently maintaining a web app that has classic asp, and asp.net running. I am attempting to get it running on server 2008, but I am having a problem, and I am not able to attach a debugger to step into the aspx/aspx.cs files. I can attach to the w3wp process, and it will break into the classic asp pages, but not the aspx. I have the debugging working fine on XP, and Vista, but on 2008 I can't step into it. does anybody have any idea what the problem could be? Thanks Lance |

| | Re: Attaching to running iis7 app on 2008 server to debug aspx? Ok, I got this working, but I had to uncheck the "Automatic" radio in the attach process dialog, and select only managed code to debug. I can't debug both ASP, and ASPX in the same session on Windows 2008 Server. A bit of an inconvenience, but not unworkable. I'll post a solution if I find one later on, but now I need to get back to work...
