WMP with Vista

I`m running Vista Home Premium SP1

The question is this:
How do I make WMP my default player. I`ve opened options in WMP, but it does
not have the `File` option (which it did on my old PC that run XP). I`ve
executed a repair on the WMP and am informed that I have the most up to date
WMP on my system.
Any help will be most appreciated :-)

You are posting to a .Net Programmer's forum
microsoft.public.dotnet.general.

You should be posting to MS.public.windows.vista.general which is a
forum related to Windows *Vista*.
