MS Office Standard 2007 Military Appreciation Edition

Greetings,
I recently purchased a copy of MS Office Std 2007 MAE. When attempting to
comply with the registration prompt, the product number is rejected due to
certain numbers within the code being not valid, ie., 0, 5, and others. MS
wants me to pay $49.95 for a solution- not going to happen. Is there anyone
else who has experienced this snafu or who may have a solution ?

Although you'd be far better off asking about this in a discussion group for
MS Office, I'll try to assist.

I know of *no* Microsoft retail product that does not come with at least a
couple of *free* support incidents, especially installation/activation
issues. I'll guess that you called a support number and heard a recording
indicating that you *may* be charged for support and that you need to supply
a credit card number *in case* you're not entitled to free support. You
*are* eligible for free support.

Unless you purchased Office Std MAE more than 90 days ago, follow the links
to your free support.
