| | CD-ROM drive not recognizing cd is there With an XP system, my CD drive doesn't acknowledge there's a CD in there when there is. Driver status says it's working, I've tried uninstalling, re-installing, no luck. Any ideas? -- jgraf |

The green light blinks a couple times, but when I go to My computer and look at the drive, it's empty. I can eject the disk from the computer screen, so that responds, but nothing else. Did you fix it? What did you do?? |
