| Guest | Printing from a Microsoft.Reporting.Winform report First, sorry for the cross posting - my application is a VB 2008 Windows Forms program, but I will take a solution in C# as well (I write in both as needed). I am writing a check printing application that needs to print 6 x 2.75 inch checks. Our blank check stock is four checks per page. We are replacing an aging, single user MS-Access based application. The problem I'm having is that even though the bottom of the MICR line of the check is 3/16 (.1875) inch above the check and our MICR printer's paper handling hard margin is at ..16 inch, I can only get three checks to print, and they print exactly where they need to print for the MICR line to be read by the bank. The fourth check (remember, this is preprinted blank check stock) won't print. The checks are defined in a rdlc file for local binding and display/printing. The application I'm replacing prints all four checks, MS-Word has an option to print outside the printable area, although nothing will show. I need to be able to force the last check to print partially outside the printable area of the page, which is ok because there is .0275 (11/400) inch of space available below the MICR line. Does anyone have code that will override the print handler of the Windows Forms ReportViewer control that will mimic the default print handler, but still allow me to print the final check on the page? Thanks, Mike Ober. |
